The Southern part of Okinawa is neither pretty nor particularly pleasant.A chaotic collection of rarely attractive buildings, it is plagued by traffic jams, lack of public transportation, etc. Still, there are a few worthwhile archeological remains, some good restaurants, the old (mostly pedestrian) part of Naha is very pleasant. We went to Ginowan during December (winter time) hence lots of water sports were not available. However we did enjoy the beautiful sights of cliffs, capes and castle ruins without the crowd plus the heat.AAnonymousSingapore

I stayed for 5 nights and 6 days with my colleagues. We enjoyed a lot, cooked meals together. The property had all the required utensils which makes everything easier. There is a supermarket nearby where we get all the food items and other stuff. The host responded quickly to our queries. In Japan, Okinawa is the most beautiful place and all people were very kind and polite. It was a good experience.PriyaIndia

There are a few konbini nearby too (5-10 minutes) and a supermarket (Union) around 10-15 minutes away on foot. Checking in and out is automated, but it was really easy, even if you can't understand Japanese. The room door lock doesn't use a key, it's just a numpad (which is actually pretty convinient). If anybody wanna get legit tattoo in Okinawa I recommend ‘Black Ocean’ tattoo studio and also stay in this hotel. The spacious balcony, the kitchen equipment and the bathroom tub. I can’t speak Japanese but the staff is really kind and use translation app to communicate with me, and make sure to introduce me the hotel as well. The stay is really pleasant! The breakfast is very large with a lot of different options. The rooms are a good size with a nice view of the ocean. The location is good, being near the beach and roughly 15-20 minutes from Naha.
